The major T20 World Cup tournament was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but it was suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, India is ready to host the competition. However, the current covid-19 situation in India cannot completely control the hosting of major events such as the T20 World Cup.
Therefore, it will be held in 4 venues in the UAE and Oman instead of India, namely Muscat, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. However, the Cricket Control Council of India (BCCI) will still have the right to host the event. It is worth noting that the UAE has been hosting large-scale events during the pandemic, so it is the safest place to host large-scale World Cup events.
The 2021 T20 World Cup schedule will commence on 17 October 2021 and will end with the final match on 14 November 2021. At the same time, the 2021 T20 World Cup qualifiers will start on 17 October and end on 22 October. The next day on 23rd October, the Super 12 round will begin and will end on 8 November 2021.

ICC announced for Twenty20 World Cup 2021 four stadiums where all 45 matches will be held such as:
• Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai (Capacity 25,000)
• Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah (Capacity 16,000)
• Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi (Capacity 20,000)
• Oman Cricket Academy Ground, Muscat, (Capacity 3,000)
The ICC has decided that 12 teams will participate in the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup Super 12 rounds. But eight teams have already confirmed their participation in the Super 12 stage of the 2021 T20 World Cup. The four teams will be selected from the 2021 T20 World Cup qualifiers, which will happen on 17 -22 October. A total of 8 teams will compete for the remaining four seats in Super12.
